Jon and I were married at my Grandmother’s local parish church on 19th August, and then held our reception in Rye up on a hill overlooking the sea – and it was the most magical day of our lives.
My Demi silk dress was an absolute dream! I couldn’t have felt more special in it on the day. And it’s really thanks to the individual contact, personal styling and care and attention of your team that I found the dress. Your patience as I chopped and changed what I was looking for, I so greatly appreciated. The one thing I knew when I started my journey to find ‘the dress’ last year, when I started working with your team, was that I had to have a Stephanie Allin. I knew the moment I walked into your Chiltern Street boutique that I was in the best hands. And that proved to be the case, time and time again! Even right before the wedding, when we were going through a difficult family situation, your kindness and flexibility astonished me.
And what can I say about THAT dress. It was so comfortable, the fit was so perfect and I felt so content with my choice. On our wedding day, the wind was blowing on our Rye hilltop cliff – the marquee, the deckchairs and the balloons were billowing – and the dress just came to life – the cut of the bodice was so clean and classy, and the shape of the skirt, and the movement in it, were absolutely stunning as I moved around the reception through the wind.
